First Annual
Cover Art ContestPar Excellence is excited to announce a $50 prize for the best SSC student-designed cover art.Any SSC student may submit a copy-ready, one-color design for the 2001 edition of Par Excellence.
The work must be original and not incorporate copyrighted images of any kind.
The theme will be entirely up to the student, but Par Excellence will not print art that incorporates nudity, pornography, or obscenity.
The design must be drawn in professional ink, or printed from a high-quality laser/ink-jet printer. Original photographs may also be submitted.
Art must be submitted to Kelli McBride (MUS 7) or Jeff Cox (ADM 12) by February 12, 2001.
Entries which do not follow these guidelines will be disqualified.
Par Excellence will have a qualified judge select the best entry, and editors may choose that design for the anthology's cover. First, second, and third place entries will be printed in the anthology.
The winning entry will receive $50. No prize money will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place entries.
